The Obsidian Chronicles: Altered Genesis : Chapter 5 : The Cleansing
Chapter 5: The Cleansing - By LM Blair
When Amentia cleansed itself, it restored its appearance back to what many would consider a paradise, only until the next set of hostile invaders would show up, these were known as humans.
The Obsidian Chronicles tells the story that was never told, about a time that was erased from the historical record, the times when Earth ruled itself according to the divine universal laws. It was the rare planet that would fight back to maintain its space in this region of the omniverses.
The cleansing was a time of renewal for Amentia. After the Titans and Skyscreamers had successfully repelled the invaders, Amentia began the process of healing itself. This was not a passive process, but an active one, driven by the same divine principles that governed Amentia’s existence.
Amentia did not merely repair the damage caused by the invaders. It transformed itself, restoring its appearance to a state of pristine beauty. The scars of the invasion were erased, replaced by lush forests, clear rivers, and vibrant ecosystems. Amentia became a paradise, a testament to the resilience of life and the power of nature.
But this paradise was not meant to last forever. Amentia was a living entity, and like all living entities, it was subject to change. The divine principles that governed Amentia also allowed for the possibility of new life forms to emerge, new inhabitants to make their home on Amentia.
And so, the next set of inhabitants arrived. They were known as humans. Unlike the previous invaders, they did not seek to exploit Amentia’s resources. Instead, they sought to live in harmony with Amentia, to become a part of its ecosystem. But their arrival marked the beginning of a new chapter in the Obsidian Chronicles, a chapter that is still being written.
The Obsidian Chronicles tell a story that was never told, about a time that was erased from the historical record. It tells of a time when Amentia, the Earth, ruled itself according to the divine universal laws. It tells of a rare planet that would fight back to maintain its space in this region of the omniverses. It tells of a planet that was not just a passive observer, but an active participant in the cosmic drama. It tells of Amentia, our Earth, and its never-ending journey of growth and transformation.
